French Exchange: The beginning and discovering the hood
Hello Everyone,
Yes French exchange has begun. To be honest I had to hold back the tears as I waved goodbye to my mum from inside the train at Charles De Gaulle (have I spelt that right? Pfft idk), not because I was sad, or homesick but because I was about to piss myself scared, literally, I think I drank too many Arizona's. I was also the weird English person on the train that carried her handbag and computer casually to the toilet because my mum had convinced me that if I didn't they would get stolen, and after I got mugged the last I was in France I decided not to take my chances.
When I got off the train that had become my glass case of emotion for the past four hours I was shaking, and I don't mean figuratively I mean the full on knees-buckling-thank-god-my-exchange-student-took-my-bag-because-otherwise-I-would-have-collapsed kind of shaking. However beneath my uncontrollable shakes I had a weird sense of confidence I was like "it's all g I got this, hey Armand! Ça va?" And that's when I stopped understanding and started shitting bricks.
Now I wish I could say that now a week on it's sunshine and rainbows and that I know French like Mcdonalds knows how to kill you but it just ain't the case. I have however stopped looking at people blankly all the time and am actually engaging in human contact so baby steps guys!
Here are some pics from my weekend frolicking around Bordeaux and the last of the sun (walked home in the rain today and my French exchange told me he wasn't gay and needed boobs lol, almost peed my pants laughing). Also I hope you know how many god damn steps I had to walk up to get the photo of the view, my legs were jelly and my vision was blurry when I got to the top.
Stay fab,

Dermoligica + Kosmea Product Review
Hello Everyone!
So right before I left for Greece (like not even joking picked up the package an hour before I left for the airport) I was sent some products from Kosmea and Dermalogica to trial and review!
Product 1: Dermalogica Clear Start Cooling Masque
So this product is basically a face mask and it says to use it 3-5 times a week but I've been just using it once and that works pretty well for me. I don't know about you but I love face masks especially at the end of the week when your face is all gross so I like to have a bath and put on a face mask on a Sunday night just to refresh and rejuvenate my skin and this face mask is perfect for that.
Product 2: Dermalogica Clear Start All Over Toner
This is a mist toner that controls excess oils and helps eliminate breakouts. Now I haven't seen massive changes on my face purely because of this toner because I have acne that I have prescription medication and products for however I have been religiously using all my products, not wearing much makeup and using this toner and my skin has been getting better so this toner could definitely be helping my skin, plus because its a mist it feels nice :)
Product 3: Kosmea Facial Cleansing Wipes
LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE!! I used them on the plane because everyone knows how gross you feel after a long flight and lets be honest during it. I also use them to remove makeup especially my eye makeup and they smell amazing.
Product 4: Kosmea Rose Hip Oil
Rose Hip Oil kinda works in the same bio oil works and other hydrating products that reduce scarring and stretch marks which is great for me because I scar really easy and I have stretch marks from when I had growth spurts. I've been using the product morning and night as directed and I haven't noticed any massive changes yet but anyone that has used Rose Hip Oil or Bio Oil or something like that would know that these things take time and I will let you all know how it's going in a couple of months!
All in all I would definitely recommend these products however if you're like me and have skin issues I would check with your dermatologist first and always read the labels guys!!!
Stay fab,

Greece
Hello Everyone!
Yes I'm aware that it's been a couple of weeks since I last posted and I am deeply sorry for that but I've just been so busy!
So last week my mum and I went to Greece and it was amazeballs, we stayed at a resort in Costa Navarino which is on the Peloponnese Peninsula and we stayed there for roughly a week. I mostly ate food, lounged by the pool and slept whilst I was there so I guess you could say I was a bit of a sloth so really It was just my day to day happenings but with a lounge chair and Greek salad. However we did do some touristy things like visit Olympia and go to some little fishing villages for dinner and we visited some ancient ruins and museums. We didn't go to Athens though because we came to Greece three years ago and did Athens then so we didn't feel like we needed to do it again so soon.
Hope you're all enjoying your spring breaks and the sun because where I am now it's going to get hella cold soon.
Stay fab,
-Rachel xx
