Istanbul

With Kapadokya behind us we now embarked on Istanbul. Istanbul is a huge bustling city with many different areas, LOTS of shops and amazing things to see. Today we only got a short glimpse of Istanbul. We visited the Sophia, the blue mosque (as pictured above), the cistern, and the topkapi palace, and many cute cats. Have a great day!

Last Day In Kapadokya

Our time in Kapadokya has been short and sweet, much like the amount of sleep we get each night...still trying to get over jet lag. Once again we had a very early start this morning but for a very worthy cause; a sunrise balloon ride across the valley. Let me tell you it was amazing! Also pretty cold I might add. We spent the rest of the day enjoying Kapadokya's finest views and crafts before returning to our hotel for one final meal.

Turkey Day 1

After over 30 hours of traveling we finally arrived in Kapadokya in Turkey! Today we walked around and discovered the caves and pigeon houses that were created by erosion and then carved out on the inside by man.
